Online Growth Account Manager
Kieran works with private, public and third sector organisations, to help them identify and analyse valuable business information and resources. He also guides them on how to use this knowledge to their best advantage.
Motivated by the challenge of helping businesses solve problems and overcome barriers, Kieran shares the experience he gained working in the public and private sectors, as well as his experience in local government.

Growth Account Manager
Wendy helps businesses identify and overcome barriers to business growth. She works closely with clients to assess their business needs and provide support and resources to help them fulfil their growth ambitions.
Before joining Exemplas, Wendy worked as local business manager at a bank – a role that involved reviewing the business plans of potential customers. She subsequently became a business adviser, delivering advice to small and medium size enterprises and social enterprises.

Chief Executive Officer
David leads the strategy for the business, particularly how we engage with our sectors and deliver quality advisory services to the SME and student market. Having originally joined as a Senior Relationship Manager in 2005 and serving as a director for nine years, he was subsequently appointed CEO in 2016. David has gleaned vast insight in how to translate the needs and objectives of our partners into innovative delivery, tailored to their clients.
He is a passionate advocate of digitisation and innovation, and recognises its potential for extending the support businesses can access.
Marketing and IT Director
As director of marketing, Graeme brings customers into the heart of what we do. IT expertise and a passion for digital engagement are pivotal to his role, and allow him to tap digital innovation to exploit emerging opportunities in today’s fast-paced markets.
Before he joined Exemplas, Graeme worked as head of pan-European marketing for a FTSE 250 logistics company. Here, he helped take sales from £28m to £90m in the first year. Before that, he worked at Exponential-e, where he supported their transformation into one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK.
Innovation and Programmes Director
Graham’s area of expertise is to develop the programme & policy aspirations of government and fund holders into practical service delivery. With over 20 years experience of delivering business support services to SMEs and business start-ups, his career has been characterised by using his skills, knowledge and experience gained working directly with clients in the development and management of new services. As a result, Graham has played a leading role in the delivery of business support across the UK & Europe.
Following a diverse career working in both the private and public sectors, Graham worked as a Business Adviser and later Business Adviser Manager leading a team of 12 generalist and specialist advisers providing business support across all business disciples including exports, design and innovation & technology.
Graham is a registered business mentor and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Director of Finance and Corporate Services
Alun oversees operations and finance for Exemplas, and for our joint ventures and subsidiary companies.
A chartered accountant, he specialises in bidding, securing and delivering profitability for our large public sector contracts – across the UK and internationally.
Alun started his career in a small accountancy firm, then moved into industry – first as chief accountant for an audio company, and later, a subsidiary of Philips. This role included setting up a distribution company in Paris and seeing it through its first audit under French and US GAAP.
