London Start-Ups Offered Free Franchising Help
The 20 half-day seminars will provide impartial guidance on franchising in various locations around London from June this year to March 2009.
“The workshops will include the fundamentals of franchising, because people know about the branding but don’t really understand the concept itself,” said Anne Stilton, project manager for business support specialist Exemplas, which is involved in delivering the seminars.
“Then we help to evaluate whether setting up a franchise is right for the individual, which includes a SWOT analysis, and our presenter will go through the strengths which are required,” she added. “We provide impartial advice – we don’t tell anybody to go with any particular franchise,” said Stilton. “If franchising is right for them, we give them the tools and the resources to select the right franchise for their skills and experience.”
Local business advisers have been specially trained and accredited to deliver the seminars, which are endorsed by the East London Small Business Centre, the British Franchise Association and whichfranchise.com. To book your place on a seminar, telephone Exemplas on 0845 313 2545.
