About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will manage a team of two Marketing Executives, whilst remaining hands on, to lead the marketing for Innovate UK EDGE in the East of England, East Midlands and West Midlands, which provides bespoke support to help innovative businesses grow and scale,

You will be joining a growing team of marketers to drive lead generation, demonstrate impact and build engagement with the brand. Working closely with your direct reports and specialists across the business, you will have responsibility to deliver integrated campaigns and create engaging content to attract new clients.

What will I do as Senior Marketing Executive?

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage direct reports to meet contract and performance objectives;
• Implementation and management of external campaigns to support with lead generation;
• Creation of video case studies and digital content to form part of digital lead generation campaigns;
• Management of agency relationships to ensure campaigns are delivered to meet objectives, on time and within budget;
• Building relationships both internally and with key marketing contacts across external organisations;
• Driving relevant and engaging content across social media channels;
• Using metrics to track, monitor and report on campaign performance;
• Ensuring campaigns are delivered within the agreed budget and regularly report on budget updates.

About you

We are looking for someone who ideally is available immediately and has the following skills and experience:

• A marketing qualification and experience of working in in B2B marketing;
• Demonstrable experience of direct line management;
• A self-starter who can hit the ground running and is confident in the ownership and management of campaigns;
• Ability to create exciting, engaging content for use across online and offline channels;
• Demonstrable experience of managing third party suppliers/agencies to ensure campaign outputs are achieved and exceeded;
• Demonstrable experience of managing internal stakeholder relationships;
• Good knowledge of social media and email marketing platforms is desirable.
