IUK EDGE Programme Coordinator – Access to Finance

About the role

Innovate UK EDGE are launching a new service offer to its innovative high growth clients, this role is key to being successful through strategic planning and organisation of the rollout activity. Some of these include booking the national training workshops, acting as the first port of call for enquiries from consortium partners and collating and circulating MI.

We will support you to develop an understanding of the ‘InvestReady’ tool to enable you to respond to basic questions from our national delivery team of Innovation & Growth Specialists (IGSs);

  • Produce training materials using desktop publishing tools;
  • Schedule and organise workshops and meetings, finding suitable locations/venues and booking travel and accommodation;
  • Follow up with attendees from workshops with any additional materials required;
  • Collect feedback from attendees following the workshops;
  • Support the marketing and promotion of good news stories from team activities;
  • Provide analytics and reporting from the use of the ‘InvestReady’ tool on a monthly and quarterly basis.

About you

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience within business support environment or previous experience of working within a similar position;
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment;
  • Ability to engage/communicate with people diplomatically, competently, and effectively at all levels (internally and externally) to build relationships and overcome obstacles
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines;
  • IT literate - MS Office suite with intermediate to advanced Excel; basic understanding of Adobe suite especially Adobe In Design;
  • Competent user of CRM (SalesForce/Dynamics) for data entry and Survey Monkey type products.

This is a full-time, permanent role you will be working from home when you are not attending training events or meetings, we will consider part-time working (4 days) for the right applicant.
