IUK EDGE International Programmes Coordinator

About the role

To support the Innovate UK EDGE International Team to deliver our international offer to its innovative high growth clients. The administrative support you will provide is key to the successful delivery, through the promotion, planning, organisation, and evaluation of the overseas visits. This includes booking travel and accommodation as well as acting as the first port of call for enquiries from clients, collating and circulating management information.

  • Support the International Programmes Manager with general communications with clients, Innovate UK EDGE partners and Innovate UK team;
  • Working with our Regional Business Development Specialists to identify potential clients who could take part in the international programmes;
  • Help with the organisation of selection panels and briefing events (both physical and virtual)
  • Engage with clients at all stages from selection panels, to organising travel and following up with clients at intervals to capture benefits/impacts and potential case studies;
  • Using Salesforce CRM and/or additional tools, to record all client information and run reports as required;
  • Monitor budget spend and raise POs and manage the receipt and reimbursement of client deposits, and assemble information for claims and financial transactions;

About you

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably with SMEs;
  • Experience of working with databases and maintaining accurate customer information on CRM systems;
  • Experience of general monitoring and project management systems;
  • Experience of planning and organising events;
  • Experience of working on a number of projects simultaneously.

 Skills Required:

  • Team player with good interpersonal skills;
  • Highly organised, self-motivated with the ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills especially telephone and written English;
  • IT literate with experience of Databases, Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Empathetic and able to develop rapport with partners, clients and colleagues;
  • Numerate.

This is a full-time, permanent role you will be working from home when you are not attending training events or meetings, we will consider part-time working (4 days) for the right applicant.
