About the role
You will be providing high quality first-line IT support to employees and customers across the following key areas:
As our IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will have a keen interest in all areas of IT and ideally, you will have a technical background in a similar role within an IT department. You will have a formal IT qualification equivalent to a Level 4 Diploma for ICT Professionals or you will be willing to undertake an IT Apprenticeship to work towards this or a similar qualification, which we will fully support you with.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and approachable manner in order to provide an efficient service, especially when under pressure. You will have keen interest in computer support and rounded knowledge of PC hardware and be looking to build and expand your technical knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, networks and applications such as MS Office. We want you to have a desire to learn whilst being passionate about IT and customer service, and continually looking to improve the quality of support throughout the business.
You will need to have a flexible approach and be prepared for ad-hoc travel and occasional out-of-hours working to facilitate systems availability, and an ability to prioritise tasks and manage time.

This role is based in our Hatfield office but we are currently working remotely due to Covid-19 with the occasional requirement to be in the office.
