About the role

We are looking for someone with administrative and customer support experience to help administer grant application processes for the Restart and Recovery grants programme and the Kickstarting Tourism Package Project.

As the Grants Programme (GP) European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Project Executive you will;

 In this role you will;

  • Act as first point of contact for supported businesses;
  • Receive and check grant applications for consistency, accuracy of information and compliance with ERDF procedures;
  • Prepare funding agreements for businesses and ensure all associated documents are completed on a timely basis;
  • Maintain records relating to supported businesses to satisfy audit requirements;
  • Maintain accurate customer information on a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.             

About you

You will have experience working in a busy administrative role within a service or business support organisation and have excellent organisational and Microsoft office skills including Excel.

Ideally you will also have experience of project working in a similar role on European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or European Social Fund (ESF) projects.

In addition, you will have;

  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably with SMEs;
  • Experience of financial and general monitoring and project management systems;
  • Experience of working with databases and maintaining accurate customer information on a CRM system;
  • Ideally have experience in signposting businesses and identify opportunities for business support
  • The ability to identify and solve problems and have excellent attention to detail;
  • The ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written formats with a high standard of written and spoken English.

This is fixed term contract until March 31, 2021 and it is a full-time role. We are currently working remotely due to Covid-19 but this role will be based our Hatfield office when we return.

  • The salary of up to £24,051 for the right candidate
