EEN Ecosystem Relationships & Gateway Lead

About the role

In this role you will work closely with Innovate UK family regional colleagues, and other business support services and stakeholders in the East of England, to improve the reach and take-up of the breadth of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) services.  You will develop new beneficial relationships that increase the flow of referrals to maximise the impact of EEN activity across the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Improving the reach and take-up of EEN services by actively promoting and raising awareness of the breadth of services across the East of England business support ecosystem;
  • Actively collaborating with ecosystem partners in the East of England to avoid duplication and to streamline event and promotional activity to deliver maximum benefit for growing innovative SMEs and raise the profile of EEN services;
  • Representing EEN through participating, exhibiting at, and/or presenting at regional events and contributing to the organisation and planning of a range of promotional and marketing activities.
  • Setting objectives to ensure EEN Team KPI targets are met;
  • Managing a team to ensure service delivery meets funders’ and clients’ expectations.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience of working within a business support organisation who has a demonstrable track record in identifying, developing, growing and maintaining significant high-level mutual value relationships.

You will also have;

  • A proven track record of managing teams to achieve objectives and targets;
  • Experience of working with databases and maintaining accurate customer information on a CRM system.
  • Ability to diplomatically, competently and effectively engage and communicate with people at all levels (internally and externally);
  • Excellent presentational skills for hosting, chairing and speaking at events;
  • Effective networking skills;
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines and be responsive.

In addition, it would be desirable to be:

  • Familiar with the business support system across the East of England.

What we offer

This is fixed term contract until March 31 2022 and it is a full time role, but we are happy to have a conversation about flexible and part time options.

  • The salary of £37,000 to £40,000 for the right candidate (pro-rata for part-time)
