Get Exporting 2 and Exporting for Growth
Through our regional Department for International Trade (DIT) contracts in the East of England and Yorkshire & Humber, we are delivering Get Exporting 2 and Exporting for Growth.
Both projects are part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and are to support eligible businesses to begin exporting or to grow their success overseas.

Get Exporting 2
A tailored programme of advice and assistance, both financial and 1-2-1, to enable companies to begin selling overseas or to expand internationally thereby increasing profitability and employment in a sustainable way. It is backed by ERDF which has enabled us to provide services additional to our normal operations and grants of up to £3000*. (*grants may be subject to geographical variances)
To be eligible for Get Exporting 2 you must be a small or medium enterprise (SME) and have a strong desire to grow. Places on the programme are limited but if you are accepted, entry is free! The Get Exporting 2 programme will give you access to; expert advice, financial support, workshops and webinars. For some For a limited number of companies with outstanding potential to grow and develop quickly internationally, Get Exporting 2 can offer the services of an Interim Export Manager to work inside your business on a project to accelerate your export ambitions.
DIT Yorkshire & Humber
Exporting for Growth
Exporting for Growth is a grant programme for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in Leeds City Region, Sheffield City Region and the Humber region, and will support both first time exporters and those already exporting to grow their success within international markets. Grants of up to £2,000 for new exporters, and up to £5,000 for existing exporters are available, and must be matched by the SME.
SMEs based in the three city regions mentioned above with a strong desire to grow. A key criteria is the creation of a minimum of one job per grant, as well as an increase in export sales. Eligible activity includes the costs of getting to the target country and in-country accommodation, entrance to exhibitions/trade fairs and shipping of any associated products - including cost of the stand and associated fittings (table, chair etc.) booked through the exhibition’s preferred supplier, and international marketing materials specifically for the target markets.
