How long does it take?

We aim to deliver the Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care within 9-12 months and the Advanced Apprenticeship in Management within 15 months.

How much does it cost?

There is no employer contribution for Apprentices under the age of 19 (assuming the employee qualifies for a subsidy). For those over 19, subsidies may also be available, depending on the apprentice’s age, previous qualifications and the size of your organisation. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss costs further when we understand your business and learner requirements.

What are the taster workshops available for the Health and Social Care Apprenticeship?

Tasters of the workshops delivered on the Health and Social Care programmes are:

  • Supporting people and promoting choice and well-being
  • Effective communication in a health and social care setting
  • Keeping safe – health, safety and security
  • Developing yourself and your practice
  • Caring for children and young people.

There is some overlap between the Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship programme but the standard required at the Advanced level is more challenging and more pro-activity is required by the learner.
