How long does it take?
We aim to deliver the Apprenticeship in Team Leading within 9-12 months and the Advanced Apprenticeship in Management within 15 months.
How much does it cost?
There is no employer contribution for Apprentices under the age of 19 (assuming the employee qualifies for a subsidy). For those over 19, subsidies may also be available, depending on the apprentice’s age, previous qualifications and the size of your organisation. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss costs further when we understand your business and learner requirements.
What are the taster workshops available for the Team Leading or Management Apprenticeship?
Tasters of the workshops delivered on the Team Leading and Management programmes are:
- Developing your style as a Team Leader – understanding your own management style
- Motivating your Team – developing motivational techniques and knowing when to use them
- Planning and Monitoring Effectively – understanding how to set goals and how and when to follow up
- Problem Solving and Decision Making – making good judgements in the workplace
- Effective Leadership Skills - Identifying what good leadership means and how it differs from management
- Leading your Team - Identifying the need for organisational vision and purpose and how to communicate it.
There is some overlap between the Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship programme but the standard required at the Advanced level is more challenging and more pro-activity is required by the learner.
