Mentoring

We turn successful people into outstanding individuals

Mentoring at Exemplas is a partnership through which the mentor shares their knowledge, skills, information and perspective to foster the personal and professional growth of the mentee.

All our mentors have operated at senior levels, some as Chief Executive and many have international experience as well as robust academic and professional qualifications.

Typically, the context of our mentoring is as follows:

  • Supporting senior staff or Managing Directors in a new role to give a ‘sounding board’ for decision making and concerns
  • Supporting senior staff or Managing Directors to navigate through transformational change programmes
  • Supporting the application of specific business skills e.g marketing, finance or soft skills such as leadership.
  • Coaching and Mentoring can support staff at all levels of the organisation – from those focusing on day to day operational issues, to those responsible for developing longer term strategic planning.

Typical benefits include:

  • Enhanced leadership and management performance
  • More effective succession planning
  • Developing self awareness and the ability to act with greater clarity as a result
  • improved capacity for value shift or cultural change within the organisation
  • Faster and more effective application and Embedding of off-job training
  • Senior managers able to shape strategies and plans on a wider base of knowledge and experience

Harry Formosa, Director of UK and European Sales, BT Global Services

"Invaluable. The most effective personal development programme I have ever attended" -

"I have never been so stretched in all the training I have undertaken in RBS. But in a positive way. Very worthwhile." -
