Exemplas has the experience and background to construct an appropriate scheme, or schemes, which will develop individual competencies among key staff and encourage greater confidence in their abilities.

Our team of experts will work with organisations to set up the chosen scheme and provide support and training for mentors. We can also provide outside mentors if this is a more suitable option.

Our Approach

Mentoring is not only a valuable business tool, it is also an age-old tradition observed in many cultures, the basis of which is the sensitive delivery of advice, support and guidance from mentor to mentee.

We help the mentor to understand how and when to adopt different 'hats' - part counsellor, part facilitator, part role model; and how to become a better listener, how to develop empathy and how to gain an instinctive understanding of the needs of the mentee.

In turn mentors can help mentees to acclimatise to a new job or role; to reflect on their abilities and progress; to remove any perceived 'barriers' to their development; and to improve their performance.

We also advise companies on how to create a culture of continuous improvement through an on-going programme which will ensure employees' career goals are in harmony with the future success of the organisation.
