We help you assess how it fits with your organisation's long-term development strategies, your plans to identify and develop high flyers, the way you manage good and not so good performance, or your plans for growth or consolidation in the future.
Developing a new scheme
When it comes to setting up the scheme, we can help you to think through how you want the scheme to run and the rules you wish to introduce. We can help to train your mentors (and the mentees!) and help you to develop your communications plan to tell everyone in the organisation about what is going to happen.
Recruitment and matching
The heart of any mentoring or coaching scheme is the relationship between the participants in the mentoring or coaching pair. Getting this right is essential and, again, Exemplas can help - whether it is setting expectations for the sessions, agreeing ground rules, helping with mentoring at a distance or matching mentee to mentor.
Scheme evaluation
Finally, when your scheme has run, either as a pilot, or even for a scheme that has been running for many years, it is really important to step back and see how it is going. You need an external pair of eyes to probe to see how effective it really was, to ask the difficult questions of both participants or of the organisation as a whole. Did it really add value, what are the real benefits, how can they be evidenced, how has the organisation moved on as a result, and above all, has its own objectives for the scheme been met?
