Exemplas has a team of experts in international trade, including regional and country specialists with specific knowledge of the business culture in export markets.
As a result, in 2010, a subsidiary (EEIDB Ltd) won the major contract to deliver the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) service across the East of England Region.
The contract has a value of c€2.7m p.a. and centres on the delivery of export related business advice and support to SMEs by a team of 30 International Trade Advisers and Research Staff.
The UKTI service supports businesses to achieve their export ambitions by providing expert consultancy and a gateway to the UK’s embassy and consular network for UK companies, as well as to foreign-owned firms wanting to export from a UK base.
