Exemplas Associate Charter

The Exemplas Associate Charter has been created to promote best practice and ensure that the highest standards are maintained amongst our Associates. This Charter provides a foundation as well as an opportunity for development and improvement.


Our Associate Charter is our commitment to ensuring that Exemplas is – and remains the Employer of Choice for all its Associates.


Our actions are guided by the following principles:

  • Exemplas’ commitment to Associates
  • Exemplas will treat Associates fairly and with respect
  • Exemplas will apply a fair payment policy,  which is regularly reviewed
  • Exemplas will endeavour to inform Associates about relevant developments in our business
  • Exemplas will listen to its Associates and encourage feedback Exemplas will foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation among all Associates.

In addition

  • Exemplas will treat all sensitive communication with Associates as confidential
  • Exemplas will pay all Associates on time subject to receiving an approved timesheet and invoice
  • Exemplas will provide ongoing support and advice throughout the length of the assignment, and assist Associates in their search for the next assignment
  • Exemplas may advise Associates about clients seeking similar skill sets and upon agreement, may proactively approach those companies on behalf of the Associates
  • Exemplas will make Associates aware of its key policies and procedures
  • Exemplas will provide all appropriate contract paperwork in the event of a successful placement, ensuring full legal compliance within the country where the services will be delivered.

Associates’ commitment to Exemplas:

  • Associates will act in the best interests of Exemplas by adhering to the code of conduct which forms part of the contract
  • Associates are expected to perform their jobs diligently, responsibly and to the highest professional standards at all times
  • Associates will use all the relevant Exemplas forms, templates and systems provided for their use
  • Associates should actively seek information which improves their understanding of Exemplas, be receptive to Exemplas communications, and act upon them as requested
  • Associates should support Exemplas business development by providing pro bono input and expertise into our tenders
  • Associates should freely share knowledge and experience with their colleagues and managers in order to benefit Exemplas and its operations
  • Associates should respect, and support, each other. They should participate willingly in team processes and value each other’s contributions.
  • Associates should support Exemplas in maintaining compliance with IR35 and other tax regimes by providing necessary data as requested from time to time.
  • Associates will be fully aware of and comply with Exemplas key policies and procedures (e.g. Anti Bribery and Corruption
