Working with SMEs
Exemplas’ financial services team concentrates primarily on helping SMEs access finance. The team has delivered a number of successful investment readiness programmes, ‘fit4finance’, demonstrating to businesses that approaching private equity investors is not as daunting as many think. Advising SMEs on the correct way to pitch their businesses model and funding needs to Bankers, Business Angel and Venture Capital Investors improves their chances of completing a successful deal and obtaining the necessary finance to grow their business.
The programmes have been delivered for the DTI and others, across the South East of England and have been adapted to meet main stream and minority sector needs.
Working with Governments and Support Agencies
Building on their experience and reputation of providing effective programmes to assist entrepreneurs and growing companies obtain funding, the financial services team is acquiring a good reputation in advising and working with a number of Government support agencies across Europe. Many countries, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, have little in the way of developed private equity markets, investment funds and investment readiness programmes. Exemplas has been assisting these agencies build these structures into regions that are seen to have huge growth potential in the future.
