Our capabilities range from the formation and implementation of major public-sector contracts (such as the new regional Business Link brokerage models for East of England and Yorkshire & Humber), through to the design and delivery of high quality product services (such as start-up and franchise advice; securing investment for growth-aspirational businesses; and environmental support as part of the climate change agenda).
We design and project-manage programmes that assist entrepreneurs, start-up, and growth-aspirational companies to access finance.
Exemplas piloted one of the first Investment readiness projects in Europe which was funded by the Department of Trade and Industry and is now being replicated by a number of organisations across Europe.
Using our vast experience of dealing with companies looking for Equity finance, Exemplas works closely with universities in exploring opportunities for them to take equity stakes in spin-out organisations and companies in need of expertise and resources. This is key in ensuring that universities capitalise on their resources, facilities and Intellectual Property Rights.
The UK is regarded by many as having some of the most innovative financial instruments and programmes in Europe. Exemplas has been closely involved with these and indeed designed and piloted a number of them for the UK government.
In view of this Exemplas undertakes a number of overseas consultancy projects sharing experience and knowledge and steering overseas organisations in the development of their own programmes. Many of these programmes have been financed by funding from the European Commission.
