Marketing Executive

You will work closely with the Marketing Team, in particular the Digital Marketing Executive, to support marketing activities for Innovate UK Business Growth contract delivery.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will lead in delivering the marketing for two business support programmes, which provide ambitious entrepreneurs and business owners with the opportunity to improve their productivity and to start and grow their businesses.

Working closely with a team of marketers and specialists across the business, you will have responsibility to develop effective marketing plans and deliver integrated campaigns, creating engaging content to attract new clients and deliver against agreed objectives.

Key Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and management of external campaigns to support with lead generation
  • Creation of written/video case studies and digital content to form part of digital lead generation campaigns
  • Management of agency relationships to ensure campaigns are delivered to meet objectives, on time and within budget
  • Driving relevant and engaging content across social media channels
  • Using metrics to track, monitor and report on campaign performance
  • Ensuring campaigns are delivered within the agreed budget and regularly report on budget updates.

About you

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A creative self-starter with demonstrable previous experience of working in marketing and is confident in the ownership and management of campaigns
  • An ability to create exciting, engaging content for use across online and offline channels
  • Demonstrable experience of using email marketing platforms to implement successful automation campaigns
  • Implementation of digital marketing initiatives including SEO and PPC
  • Demonstrable experience of managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Management and maintenance of social media platforms is desirable.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Hatfield, Hertfordshire office. We have a flexible structure that allows our team to work from home and from the office when required.

  • Our FTE pay range is wide with mid-point for this role of £28,000pa
