Relationship Manager (London) - Train to Gain
Reporting to: Senior Relationship Manager
Salary: c£27,060 - £33,266 plus London weighting allowance and benefits
The main purpose of the job is to work with key stakeholders in London to help develop, manage and deliver successful performance for the Train to Gain team and to plan and manage, in agreement with the Senior Relationship Manager, key stakeholder and provider relationships.
To develop the profile and activity of the London Brokerage Consortium in line with company objectives and contract requirements.
KEY TASKS:
- Deliver new employer referrals to the Train to Gain London Brokerage Service.
- Develop close links with relevant providers to ensure that brokers are fully aware of current supply side provision.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with key personnel (i.e. London LSC personnel).
- Identify and work with key stakeholders and partners to develop results driven relationships.
- Work closely with other members of the team to develop the knowledge, resources and ability of the Broker team to deliver against contract.
- Support planned marketing and promotion activities to raise the profile of Train to Gain and the offer, by attending/presenting at appropriate internal and external networks and meetings.
- Work closely with the London team to establish client intelligence, best practice and effective contract management.
- Work closely with the Senior Relationship Manager to develop and implement strategic opportunities capable of delivering results against contract targets.
- Identify opportunities to develop and deliver a broader consortium offer.
- Identify and contribute to other business development opportunities in the London region
- Contribute to other business development initiatives adopted by the consortium as developed over time.
PERSON SPEC:
- The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative – being a self-starter, capable of identifying opportunities and converting business results.
- Planning and organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across a range of partnerships and sectors, along with a thorough understanding of training and development issues faced by businesses, are desirable.
- The ability to promote the benefits of people development, linking into business performance, would be advantageous.
- With the drive to exceed contract expectations and open up new contract opportunities, based upon a track record of delivery, you will have an impeccable track record at relationship building.
- The candidate must be able to identify, assess and prioritise ‘valuable relationships’ in terms of time and resource allocation along with being able to work at all levels, and actively contribute to the development and success of the team.
